A Voice that Colors the Silence
Dario Dvon is a performing artist, writer, and vocal coach from the beautiful island of Barbados, now based in Toronto. With smooth melodies, poetic lyrics, and a dynamic vocal range, Dario brings a soul-stirring atmosphere to every performance.
Guided by the mantra "Music is my Sport," Dario’s drive and dedication have led him to notable milestones in both music and theatre. He was selected for The Musical Stage Company’s Noteworthy program, where he developed original work alongside Canada’s emerging musical theatre creators, and participated in Theatre Passe Muraille’s VUKA, a platform uplifting Black voices in theatre.
Dario’s talent has been celebrated across stages—placing 2nd in Barbados' 'Who's Next' Talent Search, winning 1st place at Toronto’s Open-Mic Canada competition, and most recently, being crowned Vocalist of the Year at the prestigious Black Diamond Ball. These accomplishments speak to his artistry, perseverance, and deep emotional connection with audiences.
Most recently, Dario released his sultry single “Slow Wine,” a captivating blend of R&B and Caribbean vibes that showcases his versatility and musical roots. With more music and visuals on the horizon, Dario continues to grow his fanbase while inspiring dreamers everywhere.
With a voice that colours the silence and a mission rooted in positivity, equality, and empowerment, Dario Dvon is forging a bold path as a creative force and community builder in the music industry.
